When will Antoine Griezmann make his debut with Orlando City?
Orlando City has landed Griezmann, but the French forward still has unfinished business in Europe before his first game in MLS.

This Tuesday, after weeks of speculation, Antoine Griezmann confirmed which team he will play for next season, with Orlando City emerging as the choice for “The Little Prince.”
Despite signing his contract and being unveiled as Orlando City’s newest player, the Major League Soccer club will not be able to count on the Frenchman right away.

Griezmann will finish the 2025-26 season with Atlético Madrid, where he is set to play in the Copa del Rey final and where the club is also through to the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals.
Once his run with Diego “El Cholo” Simeone’s team comes to an end, Griezmann will report to Orlando City, which already has several possible scenarios in place for the French star’s debut.

After the MLS break for the World Cup, Griezmann could make his home debut against Nashville in league play.
If for any reason Griezmann does not debut against Nashville, the other option for his first minutes with Orlando Citywould be in the game between the Florida club and Monterrey in the Leagues Cup.
Griezmann will also have the chance to face three Liga MX teams in the Leagues Cup, as Orlando City is set to play León and Atlético de San Luis as well.
