Who plays today, Monday Jan. 15, in the AFCON 2023? Time of every match
We’re four games down and have three more lined up for today, as Groups C and D take to the stage, including the reigning champions.
On Saturday night, our hosts Ivory Coast kick-started the 34th AFCON in the nations capital, Abidjan. Since then we’ve seen some of the favourites, including Nigeria, Ghana and Egypt in action with the likes of Victor Osimhen, Jordan Ayew and Mo Salah all making their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations debuts. Another of those tipped sides, Sadio Mané's Senegal, take the field today as teams in Groups C and D kick-off their campaigns.

AFCON 2023: format
The top two sides in each of the six groups will advance to the Round of 16 and will be joined by four of the best placed third placed teams. The competition then follows a direct knock-out format through to the 11 February final where the champion of Africa will be crowned at the 60,000 capacity Alassane Ouattara Stadium in the capital, Abidjan.
