The forthcoming 2023 Women’s World Cup in Australia/New Zealand is destined to become the most attended standalone women’s sporting event in history, with over one million tickets having been sold for the competition that kicks off on 20 July and concludes in Sydney with the final game on 20 August.

The USWNT head into the competition as the team to beat but the current holders will face stern opposition from the likes of England, France, Spain, Japan and Canada.
