2026 World Cup international friendlies: Who plays today, Saturday, May 30?
As this summer’s tournament approaches, several World Cup teams are in action in international friendlies today.
While the eyes of the soccer world will chiefly be trained on the Champions League final in Budapest, Saturday also sees a number of national teams continue their preparations for the upcoming World Cup in North America.
No fewer than seven World Cup participants are in action throughout the day - including co-hosts Mexico, who take on Australia in their penultimate tournament tuneup.

- 8:30 a.m. ET: Scotland vs Curaçao, Hampden Park, Glasgow
- 9:30 a.m. ET: Zimbabwe vs India, the Valley, London
- 2:30 p.m. ET: Jamaica vs Nigeria, the Valley, London
- 7:30 p.m. ET: Ecuador vs Saudi Arabia, Red Bull Arena, Harrison, New Jersey
- 9:00 p.m. ET: South Korea vs Trinidad and Tobago, BYU South Field, Provo, Utah
- 10:00 p.m. ET: Mexico vs Australia, Rose Bowl, Pasadena, California

When does the 2026 World Cup start?
Held in Canada, Mexico and the U.S., the 2026 World Cup begins on June 11. In the tournament’s opening games, the Mexicans host South Africa at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, with kickoff scheduled for 3:00 p.m. ET.
