When will the United States MNT reveal its 2026 World Cup roster?

The United States men’s national team continues its preparations for the 2026 World Cup under Mauricio Pochettino, aiming to deliver a historic performance on home soil as co-hosts alongside Mexico and Canada.

On Tuesday, US Soccer announced its roadmap toward the tournament, including a special event at which the Argentine head coach will reveal the 26 players who will represent the United States at the World Cup.

The event will take place on May 26 in New York City, where the 26-man roster will be unveiled, introducing the group tasked with chasing glory at the World Cup hosted by the United States, Mexico and Canada.

The announcement will be broadcast nationwide and will feature live activities, allowing fans in attendance to experience a full celebration on what promises to be a landmark day for the Stars and Stripes.

Final friendlies before the World Cup

Once Pochettino confirms the 26 selected players, the squad will enter camp to finalize preparations just days before its opening game in Los Angeles against Paraguay.

The team will train at US Soccer’s new training facility in Atlanta, Georgia, before traveling to Charlotte, North Carolina, to face Senegal on May 31. They will then head to Chicago to take on Germany on June 6, wrapping up their preparations ahead of the start of the World Cup.
