Who is Brenden Aaronson married to? This is the USMNT midfielder’s wife Milana D’Ambra

An ever present in Brenden’s life, Milana will be cheering him on at the World Cup.

Update:

Brenden Aaronson’s World Cup dream is only half the story. The other half is over on Instagram, being kindly presented to us amid snaps of cake, coffee, and Yorkshire cottages.

Milana D’Ambra is Aaronson’s wife, and she also his number one fan. A former player at Temple University in Pennsylvania, she is the daughter of Saint Joseph’s men’s soccer coach Don D’Ambra. Born on April 26, 2001, in Sewell, New Jersey, Milana now spends her time documenting the successes of her husband as he makes his name in the Premier League for Leeds United.

Their wedding was curiously not shared on social media. Undoubtedly a festival of vol-au-vents, neon a new chapter begins lights, and white peonies arranged on tables, the couple tied the knot as Brenden was excused from USMNT training late last week. He returned as his side beat Senegal in a pre-World Cup friendly.

While her Instagram feed is an ode to 21st century foodie fads, Milana also likes to get stuck in. I’m not saying she’s biting into Brian’s chicken tikka Wigan kebab at the JJB Stadium, but Milana certainly enjoys the day out where she can go and watch Brenden tirelessly scramble around the football pitch like a determined sperm.

She followed Brenden to Berlin after Leeds’ 2023 relegation in a season that saw them fire current Canada head coach Jesse Marsch. Aaronson did not fancy second division football the first time round and spent the following season on loan at Union Berlin. He returned as Leeds got promoted back to the top division in 2025.

Aaronson played 42 times for Leeds last season, scoring 4 goals and getting 5 assists. He was a key cog in the Leeds United machine as they propelled away from the relegation battle at a key moment in the season to finish 8 points above the drop in mid-table.

Next season, it remains to be seen what role he will play in an attack that will presumably be upgraded by the ambitious owners, but however much is plays, he knows that his number one fan will be in the stands with their name on her shirt.
