Aerial daytime footage reveals devastating aftermath of Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse
As the sun has risen in Baltimore, the catastrophic damage caused by the cargo ship collision to the Francis Scott Key Bridge has been revealed.
At around 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning, a Singapore-flagged cargo ship crashed into the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, causing a catastrophic collapse. Officials called the incident a mass casualty event as the entire bridge collapsed into the water and at least seven vehicles and several people went with it. Two people have since been rescued and at least seven are still missing.
Several vehicles have been detected in the water and rescue efforts are still being made, but could take anywhere from hours to weeks. Now that the sun has come up in Baltimore, aerial footage has revealed the devastating aftermath of the incident.
