Last photos taken from the Titan before disappearance

As the investigation begins into what exactly took place to cause the tragedy, the photos that emerged shortly after the worrying news broke showed OceanGate Titan submersible’s final moments above the surface of the Atlantic Ocean before it disappeared. The Titan, with five members on board, went down to visit the site of the Titanic wreckage in what should have been a two and a half hour journey.

The submersible lost signal after about an hour and 45 minutes and a few days later the news that they were lost was confirmed.

The images were posted on Action Aviation’s Instagram account (@actionaviation). The chairman of Action Aviation, Hamish Harding, was one of the five people on board the Titan. In the photos, the Titan is floating on the surface just before being launched into the ocean.
