Seahawks players go viral with ski mask trolling of Lions
The Detroit Lions fans wore ski masks to portray a “villainous” look, but the Seahawks made a fool of them after their 37-31 OT win.
The Detroit Lions got a little cocky after their Week 1 win over the reigning Super Bowl champions Kansas City Chiefs. They had the idea to ask their fans to wear blue ski masks to portray being the NFL “villains”. The idea was urged by cornerback Sauce Gardner, who said it would back up the “ruthless” and “villainous” vibe.
That backfired a bit when the Seattle Seahawks ended up beating them in overtime, 37-31. Immediately after the win, Seahawks safety Jerrick Reed found one of the masks, put it on, and proceeded to troll all of the Lions fans and players, wearing it on the field and in the locker room, as can be seen on this video that very quickly went viral.
