Manchester City’s Champions League win over Inter Milan saw manager Pep Guardiola join Ancelotti, Zidane, and Paisley as 4th coach to win it three times.

Update:

Manchester City became the Champions League victors with their 1-0 defeat over Inter Milan on Saturday. With that win, City coach Pep Guardiola became just the fourth coach to win the European Cup three times, joining Carlo Ancelotti, Bob Paisley, and Zinedine Zidane.

Guardiola won the Champions League with Barcelona in 2009 and 2011, but hadn’t won it since then. He’s now finally ended a 12-year drought without winning the tile and his first with City since taking over as manager in 2016.

It’s City’s first-ever Champions League victory. Guardiola’s side has been unstoppable this season. They have now accomplished a treble - winning three major trophies in the same season: The FA Cup, the Premier League, and now the Champions League
