Video of the house explosion in Arlington, Virginia

On Monday, a house exploded in a neighborhood in Arlington, Virginia. Police were already at the scene as there had been reports of gunshots earlier. The person inside had fired a flare gun several times from inside the house and into the neighborhood, and the police had tried to get him to come out. The suspect remained inside the house and did not respond, but fired several gunshots when they attempted to enact the search warrant, according to the police reports. Hours later, the explosion occurred, which was caught on video by some neighbors.

Now, the police are investigating the explosion and believe the person inside was 56-year-old James Yoo, and that he was responsible for the explosion. It is an ongoing investigation and police have asked witnesses to send in any media they may have obtained of the incident, including photos and videos.
