Vinicius Jr to testify regarding racist insults at the Mestalla

When Real Madrid played Valencia at the Mestalla Stadium on May 21, Madrid player Vinicius Junior was unfortunately the victim of harsh racist insults by fans. It got so bad that at one point, the game had to be stopped. The fans in question were identified and banned from games for life. They have already testified, confirming that they made gestures but denying that their behavior was racist. That was disputed by LaLiga, who provided an expert report which read the lips of the fans. Vinicius Jr will testify today from the Madrid court via video call.
