On Thursday morning, Real Madrid announced a new strategic alliance that is aimed to bolster the club’s global image and serve as a fresh source of revenue. The partnership has been established with Visit Dubai, which now becomes the club’s official destination. The event, as reported on the Madrid website, took place in the boardroom of the Ciudad Real Madrid and was presided over by Florentino Pérez and Issam Kazim, the Chief Executive Officer of the Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commercial Marketing (DCTCM).

What does the Real Madrid deal with Visit Dubai mean?

Through this alliance, both entities, which share common goals such as a dedication to excellence and innovation, say it will offer a wide range of unique and special experiences for fans in Dubai and of Real Madrid. This partnership, inclusive of the men’s and women’s first teams, will bring the taste of Dubai to the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, providing fans with unforgettable moments and top-tier services.

Emilio Butragueño, Director of Institutional Relations at Real Madrid, stated, “We are very proud of this new partnership with Visit Dubai as the club’s official destination. Dubai seeks excellence across its entire entertainment offering, a goal shared by the club. We are delighted to bring this exciting tourist destination closer to our millions of Madridistas worldwide.”

Meanwhile, Issam Kazim explained, “We are thrilled to embark on this journey with Real Madrid as a global sponsor. This innovative collaboration between Dubai and the world’s biggest club is built on a shared vision and objectives, where every achievement serves as motivation to reach new heights. With our aim to cement Dubai’s position among the top three global cities, this strategic alliance will harness the strengths of a leading destination and the world’s most famous club to reaffirm it as the best place to live, work, and visit.”

Dubai’s Real Madrid theme park

The agreement with Visit Dubai will soon be joined by the Real Madrid theme park at Dubai Parks and Resorts, the largest in the Middle East, which will further expand the city’s diverse range of destinations. The park, the world’s first themed around Real Madrid, will feature club-related attractions, a museum, football skill games, as well as a wide array of dining and retail spaces offering official Real Madrid merchandise.
