Fernando Llorente could be on his way to what would have been the most unlikely destination a few years back - Real Sociedad. While it's true that La Real have yet to put in a firm offer to Sevilla, and nor has there been any negotiations between both clubs, but it appears that the Basque side has decided to move for Fernando Llorente. The Txuri urdin sports department have said yes to the transfer, just like the Rioja-born centre-forward said to his San Sebastián-born girlfriend when they tied the knot this time last year.

La Real's first admission is that they need a new striker because Imanol Agirretxe's recovery from an ankle injury is taking longer than expected and while he has been training with the group, and recently renewed his contract with the club, there have been fears that he may require a second operation. If Agirretxe is unable to start the new campaign, that would leave Eusebio with just Sanse striker, the relatively-inexperienced Jon Bautista as the team's only alternative in attack.

After studying all of the feasible options on the table, the one which appeals most to La Real's sports department is that of Fernando Llorente because, while it wouldn't be a simple operation, it is possible.  The Realistas plan to open talks with Sevilla once they have found a new club for the outward-bound Jonathas de Jesús, who has been training in Zubieta and played in both of the team's summer freindlies so far, while he waits for his proposed move to Rubin Kazan to come to fruition.
