Coentrao remains a Real mystery
The Real Madrid left-back was expected to start against Eibar, but was suddenly ruled out - and hasn't been seen in training since...
Mystery continues to shroud the fitness of Real Madrid full-back Fabio Coentrao, who is yet to make his comeback after suffering an injury on loan at Monaco.
Injured on loan at Monaco
Crocked by a hamstring tear in April, the 28-year-old's recovery looked on course when he was named in Real's squad for the Champions League trip to Borussia Dortmund in late September.
Coentrao was then expected to start Madrid's LaLiga draw with Eibar five days later, but was a surprise absentee from Zinedine Zidane's list for the clash.
"Coentrao has some light discomfort," Zidane explained pre-match, reassuring reporters: "He's feeling it after doing a lot of work to recover. It's nothing unusual."
Didn't train on Wednesday and Thursday
He was unable to take part in training on Wednesday (the first session since Eibar) or Thursday, and has been limited to indoor work. No medical report has been issued.
