Real Madrid fans want Isco to start against Bayern Munich
The fans want a 4-4-2 formation from Zidane with the Malaga boy in the XI. That's based on the AS.com vote over the weekend as we look ahead to the Champions League.Real Madrid v. Fuenlabrada live online
The Real Madrid supporters have spoken: Isco should start for their team against Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarter final second leg. Madrid lead 2-1 after an impressive first leg showing.
Sporting performance pushes Isco
Over the weekend, in between the two clashes with the German champions and Los Blancos, As.com ran a poll in which fans could select their preferred players in each position. The diminutive Malaga-born midfielder received 10,870 votes, 1,481 more than Gareth Bale who was also competing for one of the forward places. Based on these votes, this gave Isco a place in behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema for Tuesday's match.
Although it appears that Welshman, Bale, is unlikely to be fit enough to play against Ancelotti's side, the popular vote - especially after his starring performance against Sporting on Saturday - is with Isco.
Ramos and Caravjal most popular
Sergio Ramos and Dani Carvajal received the most votes individually. As well as being fan favourites this also suggests there is less competition for their places.
Have a look at the selected starting XI, which falls into a 4-4-2 formation, and we await to see if manager Zinedine Zidane feels the same way.
