Joseph McMahon

Born in Chicago, Joe grew up in Bowling Green, Ohio where he played varsity football and baseball at BGHS and later went on to play Lacrosse at BGSU. Brought up in a family of sports fanatics, his love of sports included golf, basketball, hockey and tennis. A year abroad in Alcalá de Henares outside of Madrid changed everything and as destiny would have it, the small town boy from Ohio ended up living in Spain. After 10 years of running his own translation and language services business he ended up teaching Journalism at a private university in Zaragoza and got to travel the world as a vice-dean of internationalization. When Diario AS gave him a chance to put his theory into practice he jumped at the opportunity and hasn’t looked back since.
