Barça pay tribute to Tito Vilanova on Twitter
Two years ago today the one-time Barça coach lost his battle with cancer at the age of 45. During his short tenure in charge he led the team to the 2013 LaLiga title.

FC Barcelona’s Twitter feed is today paying tribute to first team’s former coach, Tito Vilanova.
The club’s official account features a touching video of the Spanish manager, “Two years since Tito Vilanova passed away #TitoEtern”, which reels in the years and showcases the one-time Celta Vigo midfielder’s greatest moments with los culés.
Vilanova was appointed Barcelona boss ahead of the 2012/13 season, taking the reins of los azulgranas after his close friend Pep Guardiola’s departure and led the team to the LaLiga title. Barça announced Vilanova was suffering with form of cancer in his parotid gland in November 2011, when he was still Guardiola’s assistant coach. Two years ago today he lost his battle with the disease at the age of 45.
