Balotelli in line for shock LaLiga switch this summer?
Reports on radio station RAC1 claim that the Italian striker could be in the frame for a move to the Spanish top flight.
Liverpool flop Mario Balotelli could be on his way to LaLiga this summer, if reports on Catalan radio station RAC1 are to be believed.
According to the programme 'Al primer toc', Espanyol are keen to secure the services of the Italian striker, who has played on loan at AC Milan this season.
Following an unsuccessful campaign at Anfield in 2014-15, Balotelli mustered just three goals this term after a summer return to Milan, where he spent 18 months before joining the Reds.
'Al primer toc' claims that, in the wake of their recent Chinese takeover, Espanyol would be able to meet the 25-year-old's wage demands.
However, Los Pericos are so far denying their interest in the one-time Inter Milan and Manchester City man, who has won 33 Italy caps.
