When does Euro 2016 start?

The 15th edition of the European Championships gets underway in the Stade de France on 10 June at 9pm local time (CEST), with hosts France playing Romania. (Check when it starts wherever you are in the world).

The tournament runs through to the final, also to be played in the Stade de France, on 10 July.

Current holders Spain get their campaign underway against Czech Republic in Lyon on 13 June, at 3pm local time.
