Violence in Marseille ahead of England - Russia match
The violent incidents involving England and Russian hooligans continued ahead of kick-off in the Group B match in Marseille on Saturday evening (9pm CEST).
The levels of brutality were shocking, as can be seen in the video.
Hundreds of armed police were needed to calm the situation, with the local government talking of a clash between groups of 200 to 300 on each side.
