Madrid send Jesús Vallejo on loan to Eintracht Frankfurt

Jesús Vallejo will spend the new season in the Bundesliga on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt. The young central defender, who signed for Real Madrid this time last year and spent last season on loan with his previous club Zaragoza, will continue his development by gaining regular playing time in a competitive league which is exactly what Madrid want. He will join Castilla midfielder Omar Mascarell at the Commerzbank-Arena.
Zaragoza had hoped to hang on to the 19-year-old for another season but Real Madrid prefer the defender to be gaining experience in the top flight rather than the Second Division.
