"They talk about Pogba as a phenomenon; I don't think he is"
With Pogba close to a 100M€ Manchester United move, French World Cup winner Emmanuel Petit is not convinced: "They talk about him as if he were a phenomenon; I don't think he is". <ul> <li> <a href=" http://en.as.com/en/2017/03/13/football/1489390146_267635.html" title=" Chelsea vs Manchester United: FA Cup quarter-final live stream online"> Chelsea vs Manchester United: FA Cup quarter-final</a>. </li> </ul>

Emmanuel Petit has commented on the scramble to sign Paul Pogba from Juventus, and Manchester United's 9-figure offer: "Pogba has a great future ahead of him, but I don't like the situation that has been created around him. They talk about him as if he were a phenomenon, but I don't think he is. He didn't stand out in the Champions League for Juventus", he opined.

The 1998 World Cup and Euro 2000 winner commented: "If Real Madrid want Pogba, they'll have to put money on the table, but they don't want to get into a bidding war with Manchester United, and there's a reason for that".

Petit spoke to Yahoo Sports: "With 100 million euros, I'd sign Barcelona striker Luis Suarez".
