Real Madrid's Carvajal says he's completely recovered
The Madrid full back is back training with the early returners to the squad, including Marcelo, at Valdebebas and said he is looking forward to the pre-season.
Carvajal and Marcelo are already back training at Valdebebas for the new season with Real Madrid. Both full-backs completed physiotherapy sessions and worked in the gym according to the information provided on the club website.
The start of pre-season training for the first team is officially this coming Saturday but the two professionals were keen to get themselves into shape following injuries set-backs at the end of the last campaign.
“I didn't want to being by being unfit” said Carvajal, "I've come in a few days early to get started as well as possible, to train and to look forward to the start of the season. After the injury I spent several weeks recovering and I didn't want to start back overweight or out of shape, so I’m looking after myself and preparing to be at my absolute best. I'm fully recovered. They will do some checks to see how I’ve returned but I don’t think there'll be any problems because it's not bothering me”.
There will be medical tests on the 16 and 17 July before Zidane's squad fly out to their first tour base in Montreal.
