CASTILLA - LEGANÉS

Solari's new look Castilla put to the test against Leganés

Real Madrid's reserves face top flight opposition this evening (19:00 hours) at the Di Stéfano against Garitano's recently-promoted Leganés.

Update:
Prueba para el Castilla de Solari.

Santiago Solari's Real Madrid Castilla face their most challenging test so far of the pre-season later this evening when they take on LaLiga opposition in Asier Garitano's Leganés at the Alfredo Di Stéfano (19:00 hours CEST). Leganés were promoted to the top flight for the first time in history back in June, and have won both of their outing so far this summer, beating local rivals Talavera 1-0 and Fuenlabrada 3-1. Recent arrivals Carl Medjani and Unai López will make their debuts this evening.

The two teams have met before - their last meeting in the summer of 2014 ended in a 4-1 to Leganés

Solari makes his home debut on the bench with Castilla in Valdebebas after guiding the team to a 3-1 win away at Gimnástica Segoviana on his debut. For today's game, the Argentine coach is without 11 of his players who  Zidane took with the first team squad for the US Tour. New signing Federico Valverde meanwhile, will watch the game from the stands.
