Amath: "I know I still need to score, but the goals will come"
"It's a dream for me to be alongside such important players. Seeing myself working side by side with Torres is great - everyone treats me well and helps me a lot", the Senegalese forward said.
Amath Ndiaye was one of Atlético's best performers in today's friendly against Melbourne Victory but the young forward, who turned 20 a fortnight ago, insists he has to "keep working hard, like the boss always asks of us, so that we can get more chances to play".
Amath was heavily involved in the team's moves but didn't manage to find the net: "I thought I had a good game and I am happy about that but I also need to start scoring goals - I know they'll come".
The Senegalese winger continued: "It's a dream for me to be alongside such important players. Seeing myself working side by side with Torres is a good thing. All of the players treat me well and help me a lot".
Amath is the first to admit that he is going to have a very difficult time breaking into the first team but that is by no means an obstacle for his immediate plans: "I'm going to keep working and training like I have been up until now. I will try to make the most of any opportunities I am given - but if I don't get any at all, it won't be a problem for me and nor will it discourage me".
