Diego Costa offered to Napoli and Inter Milan - report
Revelations in the Italian media claim the Chelsea striker's agent, Jorge Mendes, is looking to sort his client out with a move to Serie A.
Chelsea striker Diego Costa could be on his way to Serie A this transfer window, according to reports in the Italian press.
Mendes offers Costa to duo
Corriere dello Sport says Jorge Mendes, Costa's agent, has offered the 27-year-old Spain cap to both Napoli and Inter Milan, with Romelu Lukaku's prospective arrival at Stamford Bridge likely to condemn his client to the bench.
Atlético return scotched by Gameiro
The possibility of a switch to Italy comes in the wake of Kevin Gameiro's recent signing by Atlético Madrid, which closed the door on Costa returning to the Spanish capital outfit.
Napoli are in the market for a replacement for Gonzalo Higuaín, who left the Stadio San Paolo for Juventus in late July, and are thought to be Costa's preferred destination.
Icardi to Napoli, Costa to Inter?
However, president Aurelio De Laurentiis is reportedly earmarking Inter's Mauro Icardi as his first choice to come in for Higuaín.
A Napoli swoop for Icardi would therefore in turn potentially see Costa go on to fill the hole left by the Argentine at the Nerazzurri.
