Jordi Alba, Samper and Douglas omitted from Luis Enrique's list
The left-back has been struggling with fitness problems since overcoming a stomach bug and the Barça coach is not willing to risk him in tonight's Spanish Supercup first leg.
Luis Enrique has left Jordi Alba out of his 18-man squad list for tonight's Spanish Supercup first leg against Sevilla at the Sánchez Pizjuán (22:00 CEST).
The left-back has been struggling with diverse fitness problems - a bout of gastroenteritis meant he missed the friendly against Liverpool; once he overcame that, he suffered problems with his abductor, even though the club has not issued any medical report. His place will go to recent signing Lucas Digne.
Meanwhile, Douglas has been omitted for technical reason, as has Samper, whose future could lie far from Barcelona.
