The defender could have been sent off in Barcelona's LaLiga win over Real Betis after seeming to elbow Petros in the first half.

Barcelona defender Jordi Alba could have seen red during the Spanish champions' 6-2 thrashing of Real Betis in the sides' LaLiga opener at the Camp Nou.
Alba escapes sending-off for apparent elbow
In the 35th minute of the clash - with the score still at 1-1 - the left-back appeared to lead with his arm and catch Betis midfielder Petros with an elbow in the face as the pair contested the ball.

Referee Alberto Undiano Mallenco awarded a free-kick to the visitors, but Alba avoided further punishment.
