Barcelona to announce Alcácer signing from Valencia

Paco Alcácer has been in Barcelona and has already completed a medical with the club ahead of his permanent move.
After weeks of tense and challenging negotiations with Valencia, the transfer is virtually done and dusted with only the medical results to be verified and the player's signature to be added to a contract for the next five seasons. There fee is a fixed 30 million euros plus a further potential two million depending on performances.
After the medical, the striker flew to Madrid to join up with the Spanish national squad after being selected by new coach Julen Lopetegui for the upcoming world cup qualifiers.
One in, one out
According to Mundo Deportivo, the striker started the tests in Barcelona after Valencia's most recent game against Eibar in which he did not feature. Likewise, the other piece in this transfer puzzle, Munir El Hadaddi, did not get any pitch time in Barça's victory in the San Mamés and should make his move to the Mestalla ahead of the end of the transfer window.
