REAL MADRID
Real Madrid international watch: Kroos, Morata, Bale, Modric...
A host of Zinedine Zidane's first-team squad are in action for their countries across the globe - here's an at-a-glance round-up.
Brazil: Marcelo and Casemiro
Colombia: James
Portugal: Pepe
Pepe started the European champions' 5-0 friendly win over Gibraltar in Oporto on Thursday - their first fixture since lifting a maiden continental crown - with the defender rounding off the scoring in the closing stages. They now meet Switzerland in Basel in their opening qualification match for Russia 2018 (Tuesday, 20:45).
France: Varane
Having missed Euro 2016, Raphael Varane returned to action for Les Bleus on Thursday and captained the side, playing the whole match as Didier Deschamps' men earned an impressive 3-1 triumph over Italy in Bari. The French begin their bid to make the World Cup with a trip to face Belarus in Borisov on Tuesday (20:45).
Spain: Ramos, Carvajal, Morata, Vázquez, Asensio...
Sergio Ramos, Dani Carvajal and Álvaro Morata were all in Julen Lopetegui's maiden Spain line-up in a dominant 2-0 victory over Belgium in Brussels on Thursday, with Lucas Vázquez also featuring as a second-half substitute. Marco Asensio was not involved. Morata was forced off before the break with an injury, but could still make Spain's World Cup qualification opener at home to Liechtenstein on Monday (20:45).
Germany: Kroos
Having played no part in the Germans' 2-0 friendly win over Finland in Mönchengladbach in midweek, midfielder Toni Kroos was on the field from start to finish on Sunday evening as Joachim Löw's defending champions commenced their road to Russia with a comprehensive 3-0 beating of Norway in Oslo.
Wales: Bale
After sparkling at France 2016, Gareth Bale's Red Dragons kick off their World Cup qualifying campaign against Moldova in Cardiff on Monday (20:45).
Croatia: Modric and Kovacic
Newly-appointed Croatia captain Luka Modric and Real midfield colleague Mateo Kovacic are getting ready for a qualifying clash with Turkey - who they defeated at Euro 2016 courtesy of a fine strike from Modric - in Zagreb on Monday (20:45).
