You're not laughing now! Chico Flores trolls Allardyce with 'thug-life' photo
As news broke of the Sam Allardyce newspaper sting on Tuesday, Chico Flores -- who famously clashed with the England manager in 2014 -- was quick to show his amusement
Former Swansea City defender, Chico Flores, has finally got his own back on Sam Allardyce after the England manager was caught up in a newspaper sting that has thrown his job into doubt.
Flores and Allardyce's 2014 confrontation
Flores and Allardyce famously clashed during Allardyce’s time as West Ham United coach when the 61-year-old laughed mercilessly in the Spaniard's face after the defender had fallen theatrically to the ground during a Premier League match in 2014.
Flores was mocked on social media for the incident at the time, with a countless number of meme's and gifs doing the rounds on Twitter and Facebook. However, when a story broke on Tuesday morning that showed Allardyce filmed by a hidden camera telling undercover reporters about how to get around third party transfer rules, Flores was quick to show his amusement.
"Thug life"
The 29-year old -- who now plays for Qatari club Lekhwiya SC -- posted an image from their 2014 confrontation, except this time incorporating a pair of sunglasses and marijuana cigarette on his face (motifs characteristic of the so-called “Thug Life” social media craze).
For Allardyce, however, this is no laughing matter. The England manager now faces a fight to save his job and is set for crisis talks with the the Football Association (FA) to explain himself.
