Following the international break, Zidane and the Real Madrid squad are back together and working towards their trip to Sevilla on Saturday to take on Real Betis in LaLiga. But there are other stories doing the rounds about the Bernabéu side.
Members discounts for Club World Cup
Madrid have offered a 50% reduction for tickets to their games in the club championship in Japan to all members of the club. The semi-final is to be played on 15 December and the final on the 18 December and both are priced at €145 for category 3 and €205 for category 2.
Llorente for Arsenal?
Arsene Wenger is preparing to make an offer to Madrid for their promising youngster, Marcos Llorente, according to various English media outlets. The midfielder, who has been getting rave reviews in Spain for his performanes this season on loan to Alavés, is seen as a better option than Elneny, Xhaka and Coquelin for Arsenal. It would surprise many if Madrid were willing to let the player go, especially considering the transfer sanctions that are hanging over Madrid's head.
Pepe makes a return
With staggered international duties and injuries Zidane is getting used to seeing returning faces change on a regular basis. Yesterday the new face of the Portugal defender Pepe made an appearance at training along with all fit players from the squad with one exception. Toni Kroos - who has just put pen to paper on a contract extension - had been given an extra day's rest following the international match against Northern Ireland.
Guti's kids on a roll
The Juvenil A side coached by Madrid legend Guti ran out 0-4 winners away to Diocesano yesterday with goals from Javi Llario, Óscar Rodríguez, Dani Gómez and Martín Calderón. This is their seventh win in seven games.
Varane and Marcelo in top 100
The two defenders have been revealed to be in the Daily Mail's list of the world's current best 100. The English paper's football section is gradually releasing the names of those included and yesterday we learned those from 60-41. Varane was placed at 42 and Marcelo at 56. On Tuesday we had already seen that Morata was considered 79th.
