According to Correio da Manha, Real Madrid will sending a scoting team to Lisbon to take notes on Gelson Martins. The Sporting Clube player impressed in the MatchDay 1 meeting at the Bernabéu and since then, a number of Europe's top clubs have been on his trail - among them, Barcelona, Manchester United and Bayern Munich.
Low earner
Sporting are hoping to renew the player's contract and offer multiply his salary by five times. At present, Martins earns 120,000 euros per year and is one of the lowest earners in the squad. His retention clause has been set at 60 million euros.
