USA vs Mexico: FIFA Friendly live online
Cristiano Ronaldo leads the way in this season's top scorers after netting twice at the Bernabéu against Sporting. This came on the back of the three goals against neighbours Atlético at the Calderón last weekend. Expected rivals Messi and Suárez sit one and two goals behind with the Argentinian equalising against Real Sociedad the following day.

What a difference a week makes
In total, including all 15 games that he has played, Los Blancos' number seven now has ten goals to his name in LaLiga and two in the Champions League. He has contributed further with his six assists, four of which have come in Europe. With this activity Cristiano has directly participated in 18 goals for the team (30%) in the 60 that have been scored across the European Super Cup, LaLiga, Copa del Rey and Champions League.
The player missed some games at the beginning of the season and was rested by Zidane when unwell but his form in front of goal appears to be returning. Interestingly, the five goals in the last two games have both come in changed formations from Zidane but it must also be noted that two of those five strikes were penalties.
Team and individual glory goals
After failing to find the net in three consecutive games (Villarreal, Las Palmas and Eibar) some questions were being raised about his fitness and effectiveness. But two hat-tricks - add the one against Alavés to that in the derby - and the Sporting brace have quietened those doubters and have put Cristiano two goals ahead of Barcelona's Luis Suárez in the charts and, after Lionel Messi netted against Real Sociedad on Sunday, still one goal against his Argentine nemesis.
