Zlatan: "If I wanted to kick someone, I'd knock them out"
The Manchester United forward denied he had intentionally collided with Seamus Coleman during his side's 1-1 draw at Goodison Park.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic did not mince his words after Manchester United’s 1-1 draw against Everton at Goodison Park in response to a question about whether he had intentionally aimed a kick at the head of Toffees defender Seamus Coleman.
Speaking to Manchester United’s in-house television, the Swede flatly denied he had gone into the challenge with the Republic of Ireland international with any ill-design.
"It was a 50-50 challenge"
“It was a physical game, they played tough. I have heard people saying that I hit someone in the head intentionally, but it was a 50-50 challenge and I went in for it. Believe me, if I wanted to kick someone in the head I know how to it and I’d knock them out. That’s all I have to say.”
