2026 World Cup round of 16: schedule, teams and matchups

The FIFA World Cup 2026 has reached its most dramatic stage as the knockout rounds continue.

The 16 teams that successfully came through the round of 32 are now set to battle for a place in the quarterfinals. The round of 16 will be played from July 4-7, 2026.

These were the teams that advanced to the World Cup round of 32:
