Benfica set to beat Real Madrid to the signing of the 'new Zlatan'
The Lisbon-based club are willing to pay €10 million for the promising Swedish footballer after AikSolmes turned down an €8 million offer from Real Madrid.

Alexander Isak, considered by many as Zlatan Ibrahimovic's succesor, is one of the most highly-rated young players in Europe. Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, West Ham and Chelsea are all reportedly interested in his signature but, according to Record, Benfica have the chance to sign the player for €10 million. That figure would trump Real Madrid's €8 million offer for the 17-year-old.
Isak, the Swedish striker, visited Real Madrid's training complex at Valdebebas and just like Martin Odegaard, is inundated with offers and options regarding his future. He is currently partaking in a European tour of clubs in an effort to decide which is the best for him. Aside from the clubs mentioned above, Ibrahimovic has recommended him to both PSG and Juventus and said, "I have seen him in action and he is impressive."
€8 million was not enough
Last week, the Swedish publication reported that Real Madrid had made an offer of €8 million but AIK, the club Isak belongs to, said they did not want to make a hasty decision given the options at their disposal.
The player has a contract until 2018 with the Swedish club and his agent, Vlado Lemic, confirmed Real Madrid's interest in the player on a number of occasions.
