Leo Messi is enjoying his Christmas holidays in Argentina. The Barcelona star met up with his former teammates from the junior ranks at Newell's Old Boys, where he played from 1994 to 1999. The striker posted a photo from a barbecue (or asado as they are known in Argentina) with his teammates, which has been a smash hit on social media.

Copa game up next for Messi and Barcelona
Messi is on holiday until 2 January, while most of the rest of his teammates are due back at training on 30 December to start preparing for the Copa del Rey match against Athletic.
