Carlos Soler's emergence at Valencia has not gone unnoticed at Barcelona, who have been keeping tabs on the promising midfielder for some time.
Buy-out clause: eight million to 30 million
Handed his first-team debut in December, the 20-year-old youth product has impressed since making the breakthrough, featuring seven times for Los Che.
And Valencia have moved to ward off any interest in the young Spaniard - who on Saturday scored his first goal for the Mestalla outfit in a 2-0 LaLiga victory at Villarreal - by raising his release clause from eight to 30 million euros.
Officially a first-team player as of Friday
That came as part of last week's announcement of the activation of an option to improve Soler's contract and officially list him as a member of Voro's senior squad.
His buy-out would have automatically been increased after ten appearances but, in view of his displays, the club have acted early to ensure his immediate future.
