Jesé Rodríguez misses debut sitter in Las Palmas defeat

Jesé Rodríguez endured a Las Palmas debut to forget on Monday evening as his new side were defeated 1-0 at relegation strugglers Granada in LaLiga.

The ex-Real Madrid man came on in the second half at Nuevo Los Cármenes for his first appearance since completing a loan move from Paris Saint-Germain.

Couldn't turn in cross from point-blank range

And within moments of his introduction for Vicente Gómez, Jesé spurned a golden chance to cancel out Andreas Pereira's 17th-minute opener for the hosts.

With the goal gaping, he was unable to direct a low right-wing cross into the net at the back post, his effort bouncing into keeper Guillermo Ochoa's grateful hands.
