Fabio Capello gave an interview with Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli during which he provided a few insights into how Maurizio Sarri’s side can overcome Real Madrid in the Bernabéu on Wednesday night.
"Madrid's fans may start to whistle"
Determination and possession: “Napoli have to be very alert and not just in the opening 15 minutes. They have to avoid letting Real Madrid have the ball. The Madrid fans are used to always winning and seeing good football and they could start to whistle their team if Napoli sit back.”
Style: “Napoli have the characteristics to make life difficult for Madrid because they are very direct and play one touch football, and that can cause problems for Zidane’s side.”
Shape: “Real Madrid have players, like Marcelo and Kroos, who are good at playing the ball between the lines, which could be an important aspect of the game.”
Full backs: “The full backs, Marcelo and Carvajal, play with a lot of freedom and get forward a lot and they can cause problems in the opposition half. Napoli have to play on the front foot, They can try to impose their way of playing in the Bernabéu but they have world class players up against them. I wish them luck.”
