Real Madrid and Spain defender, Nacho, was interviewed with Deportes Cope and spoke about los Blancos' and Cristiano Ronaldo's anger at being substituted against Athletic Bilbao.

The 27-year-old said he had doubts over whether to stay in Madrid last summer but admits that the club is his home and "when Real Madrid tell you to stay, it is special." He has been at the club for 16 years and says it is "the club of my whole life. I hope to finish my career in Madrid"

Playing with Ramos

On playing alongside Sergio Ramos, he says that everything is easier with the Real Madrid captain by his side and that "every time the ball falls on his head, we know it is going to be a goal (laughs). I hope it continues until the end of the season. These points are very important to us. Ramos is just pure Madridismo."

Angry Ronaldo

"It is not normal that he is angry," when speaking about Ronaldo's strop after being taken off at San Mamés. "Cristiano is angry when you switch him, like when they switch Isco or anyone. It is important because that type of character is good."

Nacho has started the last four games in a row in the league and has become a valuable piece of Zidane's squad in the absence of Pepe and Raphael Varane.
