REAL MADRID - ATLÉTICO

Atlético de Madrid president Enrique Cerezo was the special guest on Onda Cero's El Transistor programme on the eve of tomorrow's Madrid derby at the Santiago Bernabéu. Cerezo covered all of the current issues surounding the Rojiblancos, including rumours placing Theo Hernández at Real Madrid, the famous 'gentlemen's non-agressive agreement' Atleti have with their city neighbours and Kun Agüero's departure from the club to Manchester City in 2011.

Traditional directors' pre-match lunch: "When you are invited to lunch, it would be rude not to go wouldn't it?".

Agüero leaving Atleti: "Real Madrid didn't ask us for Kun Agüero; and Kun didn't leave Atleti with any fanfare. He didn't even say goodbye, at least he didn't to me".

Torres' contract: "Will Torres continue? That's up to the technical department".

FIFA transfer ban and the Court of Arbitration: "If they don't let us sign anyone, it will be a problem, but we are confident that they will treat us like they have other clubs with the same  system".

Theo is ours, declares Atlético president Cerezo

Theo Hernández: "These rumours always surface whenever there is a derby coming up - it's always the same and I wish people would be a little more serious about these things. We are not going to waste any time on this situation. No club has approached us for Theo, not about the buy-out clause or anything. We don't know anything about it. If Real Madrid ask us about Theo they will be given a very swift and enthusiastic response - Theo is our player, an Atlético player who is on loan at Alavés but who belongs to us".

Networking and influence in the Bernabéu presidential box: "It seems like an normal VIP box to me, like any other. Piqué might see it another way, but I don't. IO'll be going to watch a football match and I am not interested on who is sat next to me".
