Bojan Krkic put Mainz 05 into the lead against Bayern Munich in today's 2-2 draw at the Allianz Arena to bring up his first goal for the German side since his winter transfer window move from Stoke City. His debut goal in the Bundesliga means he is the first Spanish player to have scored in all four of Europe's major leagues - the Spanish, Italian, English and German leagues. He also scored in the Dutch league during his spell at Ajax.

Bojan, from La Masía to Barcelona's first team

The 26-year-old, a product of Barcelona's youth academy, has already starred for six different clubs. He emerged from La Masía as one of the big promises of Spanish football, and turned down the opportunity to represent the Serbia national team to play for Spain - making his debut in a friendly against Armenia in September 2008. In his first season with Barça he scored 12 goals in all competitions, including 10 in LaLiga. He scored his first club in the Week 8 meeting with Villarreal aged just 17 years and 51 days.

Italy, Holland, England and Germany on Bojan's travels

After four seasons with Barcelona's senior side he left for Roma to try his luck in Serie A in 2011/12 and under Luis Enrique. He scored 7 goals in 33 outings - the first against Atalanta. The following season he joined AC Milan on loan, hitting three goals in 19 league games. He spent the 2013/14 season on loan in Holland with Ajax, scoring 5 goals split between the league and Cup. The next three seasons were spent in the Premier League with Stoke. He opened his account for the Potters against Tottenham - the first of 10 goals for the club before he signed on the dotted line with Mainz in January this year
