MLB, NFL and MLS add support to LA 2024 Olympic bid
Three of the major US sporting organisations have confirmed they will support a Los Angeles candidacy bid for the 2024 Olympic Games.

The governing bodies in the US representing american football (NFL), baseball (MLB) and football (soccer) (MLS) have voiced their support behind a Los Angeles bid as host city for the 2024 Olympic Games.

"The NFL enthusiastically supports the LA candidacy, a city with a rich heritage in sport", claimed president Roger Goodell in an official press release.

Los Angeles, previously hosted the games in 1932 and 1984 and will battle against French capital Paris to determine who hosts the games in seven years.
The International Olympic Committee will announce the host city at an event to be staged in Lima (Peru) on September 13, 2017.
