Iker Casillas, Mats Hummels take up the #fellachallenge

Marouane Fellaini may not have lifted the European Supercup but a photograph of the Manchester United midfielder taken during the game has since become the image of the night in Skopje.

Fellaini posted the picture of him taking a ball full in the chops on social media and now other players have been sifting through their personal archives to dig out similarly unflattering shots.

Casillas and Hummels face #fellachallenge

On Saturday, Iker Casillas and posted a picture in response to what has become known as the “fellachallenge.”

The Porto keeper’s Fellaini moment came during a game in 1999 against Mensajero.

Bayern defender Hummels also got in on the act, posting a picture of an uncomfortable encounter with the ball during a game while he was at Dortmund.
