Skomina to officiate Barça-Juve, Mazic Roma-Atlético

A full list of the referees who will oversee Tuesday's ties as this year's Champions League group stage gets under way.

Update:
Skomina to officiate Barça-Juve, Mazic Roma-Atlético

Barcelona-Juventus

Slovenian referee Damir Skomina has been selected to referee the Barcelona's opening Champion's League tie against Juventus. The 41-year-old previously oversaw Barcelona's 1-2 win away to Borussia Mönchengladbach in the group stage of last year's competition, with goals from Arda Turan and Gerard Piqué sealing the win for the La Liga side on that occasion, and Juventus' 1-2 win against Manchester City in the 2015-16 campaign.

Skomina also officiated the 2012 European Super Cup, which saw Atlético Madrid beat Chelsea 4-1 through a breathtaking Falcao hat-trick, and games at Euro 2012 and Euro 2016 and the 2017 Confederations Cup.

Roma-Atlético Madrid

Milorad Mažić, meanwhile, will take charge of Atlético Madrid's visit to Roma. Mažić, 44, officiated the Atlético Madrid-Real Madrid (0-0) game in the 2014-15 Champions League, as well as Roma-Manchester City (0-2) in the same season.

The Serbian referee has also overseen matches at the 2013 Under-20s World Cup, the Brazil World Cup in 2014, Euro 2016 in France, the 2016 European Super Cup, in which Real Madrid beat Sevilla 3-2 through a Carvajal winner in extra time.
