The draw for the 2017/18 Copa del Rey last 32 was held at Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) headquarters on Thursday, with the stand-out clash seeing lowly Fuenlabrada paired with big-name Spanish-capital neighbours Real Madrid.

Fuenlabrada were one of seven third-tier teams who went into the draw guaranteed a tie with one of the LaLiga sides competing in Europe this term, with holders Barcelona to meet Murcia, and 2013 winners Atlético Madrid to face Elche.

Meanwhile, 2017 runners-up Alavés will play fellow Primera División outfit Getafe, 2016 finalists Sevilla take on Cartagena, and 23-time Copa victors Athletic Club come up against Formentera.

The last-32 ties will be contested over two legs, with the opener scheduled for 25 October and the return leg to be played on 29 November.

The 20 clubs in Primera División enter the 2017/18 Copa del Rey scene as a total of 32 teams learn the identity of their fourth-round opponents. Following three stages of one-off ties, Spain's domestic cup competition now switches to a two-legged format, with the first legs to be played on 25 October and the returns scheduled for 29 November.

In addition to the representatives from the top flight, there will also be five teams from Segunda División and seven from Segunda División B in the hat at Las Rozas, with the septet from the third tier each to be paired with one of the LaLiga clubs in Europe: Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atlético Madrid, Sevilla, Athletic Club, Real Sociedad or Villarreal.

There will be five pots in the Copa del Rey last-32 draw, comprising:

-The four teams in the Champions League

-The three teams in the Europa League

-The 13 Primera teams not in Europe

-The five Segunda División teams

-The seven Segunda B teams

The full Copa del Rey last-32 draw line-up:

Primera División:

Real Madrid, Barcelona, Sevilla, Atlético, Valencia, Real Sociedad, Betis, Athletic, Leganés, Villarreal, Levante, Las Palmas, Eibar, Girona, Getafe, Deportivo, Espanyol, Celta, Alavés and Málaga. The seven clubs playing in Europe will each be drawn against one of the seven Segunda B sides still in the Copa del Rey, while the nine remaining pairings will see the other Primera clubs face either a representative of Segunda or another top-tier side.

Segunda División:

Numancia, Cádiz, Tenerife, Valladolid and Zaragoza.

Segunda División B:

Ponferradina, Cartagena, Fuenlabrada, Formentera, Elche, Murcia and Lleida.
