Barça claim that Los Rojiblancos have had logistical problems, while Atleti generally prioritise their own fans over those of other clubs.Europa League Final 2018: Marseille vs Atlético Madrid live
Atlético Madrid have informed Barcelona that they will not be able to provide tickets for travelling supporters when the two sides meet in LaLiga at the Wanda Metropolitano on Saturday 14 October (20:45).
Barcelona claim logistical error
According to Barcelona, the Madrid-based club have suffered from logistical issues that mean the tickets initially put aside for away supports are no longer available.
For their part, Atleti prioritise the demand for tickets from their vast body of 112,000 club members over that of any external group. This has been the case in their two previous LaLiga matches in their new stadium, against Málaga (when only 194 tickets were made available to away fans) and Sevilla.
Yet in the Champions League clash with Chelsea, the club were obliged to provide 5% of the stadium capacity for travelling English supporters.
